About the City Council
The City Council consists of Seven Members elected to serve for Two (2) year terms. Elections are conducted in May in accordance with the Texas Secretary of State Uniform Election Calendar.

Curt Woodard: Council Member At Large, Place 2, Term Expires: 2027
Bruce Kay: Council Member District A , Term Expires:2026
William Bass: Mayor Pro-Tem District B , Term Expires: 2026

Application Process
- Anyone may pick up or request a candidate packet from City Hall, City Secretary’s Office, at 1220 Hwy 327 East, Silsbee, Texas 77656. Packets will be available for pickup beginning January 14, 2026 from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
- Completed forms must be filed in the City Secretary’s Office no later than February 13, 2026 at 5:00 p.m.
