 DESCRIPTION

The Silsbee Police Department employs 20 full-time employees and 5 part-time employees. The Departments consist of seventeen sworn police officers; 1-Chief, 1-Assistant Chief, 4-Sergeants,  2-Corporals, and 8-patrol officers. The Department operates a 24-hour dispatch/call take center. There are 4-full-time and 5-part time dispatchers. The call take center handles all incoming calls to the police department, all 911 calls and dispatches the Silsbee Volunteer Fire Department. The Department also has one full-time administrative secretary to the Chief of Police.
