Mission Statement
To provide a service to all City departments, assuring all their equipment is properly maintained and serviced in an efficient manner given the resources and equipment we have available.

Description
This department services new vehicles and equipment, repairs existing equipment, supplies and stocks necessary repair parts.

The shop engages in preventive maintenance by performing scheduled maintenance to find and to repair problems before they become a failure, and the shop rebuilds and repairs City equipment as necessary.

Goals

1. To continue to provide the City Fleet with the best preventative maintenance service possible, and correcting problems before they become costly.

2. To repair as necessary City Fleet or Equipment to insure least amount of down time at the most cost efficient way.

Objectives

1. To continue regular preventative checks and service on City Fleet.

2. To keep good and accurate records on service of equipment to better understand Equipment needs.

3. To keep the shop personnel updated with all the newest technological information and proper equipment needed to perform their job duties.
